Consumer Loans

We offer a variety of different consumer loans to fit your needs. You can submit an application for the following loans online:

  • Vehicle Loans
  • Visa® Credit Cards
  • Overdraft Protection
  • Select Line of Credit
  • Signature Loans
  • 2nd Trust Real Estate Loans
  • Home Equity Line of Credit

If you have any questions regarding your loan application, please contact our Loan Department via . For more information, please visit our Loan Information Page. We are permitted to disburse approved loans only to those who are members of Nevada Federal Credit Union. Please note: refinancing is not available on existing Nevada Federal auto loans.

To apply for a consumer loan online:

  1. Click on the Loans tab.
  2. Click on Consumer Loans.
  3. Fill out the fields provided on the loan application.
  4. Click on Submit.

Mortgage Loans

If you are interested in purchasing a new home or refinancing your current home, start your mortgage application process here.
Please note: Nevada Federal can only accept applications for properties located in the state of Nevada.

If you would like to start the mortgage application process yourself:

  1. Click on the Loans tab.
  2. Click on Mortgage Loans.
  3. Click the Online Mortgage Application link.
  4. Steps to complete the mortgage application will appear in a new window.
    • Step 1 contains sample questions that many members ask about rates, fees, and loan information.
    • Step 2 contains calculators to help you decide the amount of mortgage or house payment you can comfortably afford.
    • Step 3 is a step-by-step interview gathering all the necessary data to complete the Uniform Residential Loan Application. The application consists of 9 pages and takes 30-45 minutes to complete. To complete the application, you will need:
      • A minimum 2 years of employment history
      • A paycheck stub
      • Bank statements
      • A mortgage statement (if refinancing)
      • Bills
      Please do not use dollar signs ($) or commas (,) when filling out the application. Asterisks (*) denote required fields.
    • Step 4 allows you to review the information you entered in step 3. When you have verified that all of the information in the application is correct, click Submit.
      Please note: when submitting the mortgage application yourself, your interest rate is not locked. If you would like to lock your interest rate, you must speak with a loan officer.

If you would prefer someone from the credit union to contact you about applying for a mortgage loan:

  1. Click on Loans.
  2. Click on Mortgage Loans.
  3. Click the contact me link in the sentence “No, I’d prefer to have someone contact me.”
  4. Answer the questions provided on the online form, and make sure to add any questions or comments you might have.
  5. Verify the contact information shown on the page is current — a real estate loan officer will contact you within 1 business day to answer your questions.
    • If your address or phone number is incorrect, go to User Options and click on Change Address to correct the information.
    • If your email address is incorrect, go to User Options and click on Change E-mail Address to correct the information.
  6. Click Submit to send the information.
  7. You will be taken to a page thanking you for your interest in a mortgage loan from Nevada Federal, and that a real estate loan officer will contact you within 1 business day.

Application Status

This feature allows you to view the status and details of loan applications you have submitted through SilverLink Online.

Loan approvals are valid for 30 days from the date of application. If your loan request was denied, a detailed denial notice will be mailed to the address we have on file. Please be sure to verify your address by going to User Options and clicking on Change Address.

To view the status of your loan applications:

  1. Click on Loans.
  2. Click the Application Status link.
  3. A list of loans you have applied for will be displayed in tabular format. This list contains the loan type, amount, status, and tracking number of each loan.
  4. If you would like to view the details of a particular loan application, click the View button on the corresponding row.
