Nevada Federal’s Green Checking is an eco-friendly, paperless account specifically designed for active debit card users. You'll help save paper and resources by doing your banking online, using a debit card and limiting the amount of checks you write. You'll even have the monthly maintenance fee waived when you have E-Statements and complete 12 debit card transactions per month (point of sale and signature transactions included, not ATM).

Regular Checking Account

Our Regular Checking Account has all the popular features of Green Checking but E-Statements are not required. Plus, there are no monthly maintenance fees for our Regular Checking Account if you maintain at least $2,000 daily average aggregate share balances.

Essential Checking Account

Members who qualify for the Essential Checking Account will have their monthly maintenance fees waived. Our Essential Checking Account has all the popular features of Green Checking but E-Statements are not required.

To qualify for our Essential Checking Account:

You must be 18 years of age or older
You must show proof of Annual Combined Income less than $45,000 per year
You must have recently been laid off or had a reduction in hours (verification required)
You must maintain a minimum $5.00 share account balance
You must re-certify status annually

New Start Checking Account

Nevada Federal offers an alternative to high priced checking services. Our New Start Checking Account is designed to provide low-cost checking services to responsible people who are having trouble getting a checking account elsewhere.

Becoming a member and opening a New Start Checking account is a quick and easy process. All you have to do is deposit $20.00 into a savings account and $20.00 into your new checking account. A monthly fee of $19.50 will be assessed until the account has been properly managed for twelve consecutive months. Proper account management is defined as having no more than three Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) paid or unpaid year to date and no memos with restrictive instructions from our Collections Department.

MyChecking Account

MyChecking Account is designed for younger members ages 15–17. This completely free checking account offers many great benefits including a Visa^® debit card, unlimited debit card access. Account holders even have access to our 24/7 SilverLink Online Banking and free Online Bill Payer if you sign up and use E-Statements.

Best of all, parents and joint members can transfer or deposit money directly into a MyChecking account using their 24/7 SilverLink Online Banking access. Funds will then be automatically available through the MyChecking Visa^® debit card.
